Article Twenty-One: Meetings
All meetings of the SAMC MFLWC shall be held at a time and place announced by the President, as coordinated and executed by the Secretary.
At any official meeting, under no circumstances will any member have more than one vote.
At least quarterly, the Treasurer shall have delivered, to the Executive Council, reports concerning finances and operations of the SAMC MFLWC.
Special meetings may be called by the President, or by written request of a majority of the Executive Council. The purpose of the meeting shall be stated in the call.
All meetings shall be open to all members of the SAMC MFLWC.
The Executive Council shall meet when deemed necessary by the council members, in order to resolve Chapter business. At a minimum the council will meet at least quarterly. Meetings will be held at a date, time and location to be determined by the Chapter President, with the concurrence of the members of the Executive Council.
The general membership meeting shall be called by the President, with the concurrence of the Executive Council, or when requested by at least three members of the general membership.
A quorum shall consist of three of the five Council members for the Executive Council meetings. Any matter brought before the general membership shall pass with a majority vote of those members present.
The Executive Council may suspend meetings of the SAMC MFLWC during time of declaration of war by the United States Congress or during national emergencies proclaimed by the President of the United States. Such suspension shall not exceed one (1) year following the termination of war or nation emergency.
