Article Twenty: Fund Expenditures - Electronic Vote Authorization
An electronic vote for approval of funds will only be conducted for emergency circumstances outside of regular scheduled meetings. Since meetings are scheduled on a regular basis monthly and quarterly, this should suffice in being able to accomplish normal business.
An example is the failure of an agency (individual or unit) to recognize in a timely fashion the need or intent of award will not necessitate the requirement for an expedited electronic vote. The vote, will be forwarded and brought up at the next regularly scheduled meeting of either the Executive Council or general membership, which ever is earliest.
An Example of an emergency circumstance would be that of an immediate and/or unexpected, unforeseen financial or medical hardship to an individual or recipient of SAMC MFLWC funds or support (i.e., quarters fire, hospitalization, death of a family member, etc.).
