Article Eighteen: Fund Expenditures

  1. It will be the duty of the Executive Council to manage the funds of the SAMC MFLWC.

  2. Approval by the Executive Council is required for any fund disbursement on checks drawn on the SAMC MFLWC accounts.

  3. The funds of the SAMC MFLWC may be expended for operational activities for the direct benefit of SAMC MFLWC members; membership drives; or for such charitable activities as approved by the Executive Council.

  4. The Treasurer by means of dues, contributions or donations approved for acceptance by the Executive Council will collect funds. Accounts will be established or dissolved as directed by the Executive Council. Funds will be deposited in a checking account and/or an interest bearing financial account as deemed appropriate.

  5. The Treasurer upon written authorization of the President controls all other expenditures.
