Article One: Title
The organization shall be known as “THE SERGEANT AUDIE MURPHY CLUB MANSCEN and FORT LEONARD WOOD CHAPTER”, hereinafter referred to as the “SAMC MFLWC”. Abiding by and IAW DOD Instruction 1000.15 and Army Regulation 210-22, the organization will operate on Fort Leonard Wood with the written consent of the Commander of Fort Leonard Wood or his/her designated representative. The installation commander may revoke the organization’s permission to operate at any time.
The SAMC MFLWC is an element whose By-Laws and documentation are on file at the Fort Leonard Wood Morale, Welfare and Recreation Office, NAF Service and Support Division, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo 65473.
The SAMC MFLWC is not an instrumentality of the United States Army. It will be self-sustaining and will not receive financial assistance from the Army or non-appropriated funds. The Federal, State or Local Governments, or Fort Leonard Wood shall not be held liable for any of this organization’s acts or debts.
DEFINITION OF BY-LAWS: These By-Laws constitute the code of rules adopted by the SAMC MFLWC for the regulation and management of its affairs.
